Q-SYS is used for various AV applications, including sound reinforcement, conferencing, and control in a wide range of venues such as theatres, corporate facilities, and stadiums.
The Q-SYS OS is a Linux-based operating system that runs on the Q-SYS Core processors. These processors are the heart of the Q-SYS ecosystem, responsible for processing audio, video, and control signals, as well as managing network communication and interfacing with other AV equipment.
The Q-SYS platform allows users to design, configure, and control complex AV systems through a centralized software-based interface, making it easier to manage audio and video distribution, processing, and control in professional AV installations.
Q-SYS OS
A Software-based foundation for audio, video & control. Flexible, scalable and performance driven, it was designed using industry-standard principles and mission-critical technologies. It includes a robust audio engine, video engine and control engine providing processing at the software layer, with a robust OS administrative layer that operates holistically, rather than requiring an integrator to spend time separately programming and integrating audio, video and control/automation.
Q-SYS Products
Native software, services & hardware. This comprehensive portfolio of devices and software is driven by Q-SYS OS and offers the flexibility to support a multitude of markets and applications.
We are pleased to announce that we are now Architect trained in the Q-SYS OS & product portfolio. If you would like to know more, please contact us at sales@microcomms.co.uk or give us a call on 03300 020 000

“Aaron and his associates were wonderful to work with during all phases of opening up our new office! They were informative and took the time to explain how some of the new technology worked (in “layman’s terms”) with patience and hands on demonstrations. The team followed up with notes afterwards and was very thorough and never failed to address any questions or issues we had even after they departed. Super personable as well, they felt like family before they left! Enjoyed working with them! ”.
