We began in 1980, manufacturing cables as our primary business, but in 1995, we started offering installation services for the very cables we were creating. Our installation services were expanding, and in 1999 our Managing Director Simon Murley joined the business. Simon’s expertise saw Microcomms develop its installation services from a side-line, to a primary offering. In the early 00’s we continued to evolve as a business, and by 2008 we’d made the decision to stop manufacturing, and instead reposition ourselves to focus on networks, and audio-visual technologies.
We’ve developed a lot since then, and we’ve carefully hired the right people with incredible talents to help move our business forward. Our technology has evolved a lot too, keeping us at the forefront of the tech sector, and building our reputation as ‘The Technology People’.
Our vision remains true: we want to continue our current growth strategy incorporating product development, expansion, and acquisition.
