Microcomms is B Corp Certified!

It’s official, we are now a certified B Corp™, joining the global business community committed to driving positive change.

And what an incredible journey it’s been! People, purpose, and planet have always been at the heart of everything we do; the B Corp assessment has given us the opportunity to demonstrate that, evaluate our social and environment performance and identify areas for improvement.

What does this mean for our customers?

We are one of a limited number of Technology organisations globally with this certification. Here’s a few things we want to shout about!

We have developed an employee wellbeing programme that seamlessly integrates into the working week, allowing flexibility and a healthy work life balance for our team. We also host regular team building events that get our team out of the office and into motivating environments. We believe that by investing in our people, we invest in our future.

We consistently track our impact and set reduction targets, using remote technologies to save on travel miles, implementing environmental awareness training across the entire team and continually explore ways to reduce as much single use plastic in our operations as possible.

We maintain a comprehensive and responsible waste management procedure, operate recycling schemes, and guarantee the proper and safe disposal of our electronic waste through a supplier committed to zero waste to landfill practices.  

We actively engage with the local community, take part in regular beach cleans, host team building activities and volunteer for local conservation projects.

We embrace professional development, actively seek learning and upskilling opportunities for our team, monitor quality consistently, and regularly monitor customer satisfaction to ensure we are delivering the best services possible.

But perhaps the most rewarding part of our B Corp journey has been the sense of company culture and community, with the entire team coming together to work towards our objectives. We’ve connected with like-minded businesses and customers, attended sustainability events and shared ideas, fostered a happy company culture, and collaborated on initiatives aimed at doing our bit for a more sustainable future. While certification marks a milestone, we know that this is only just the beginning of our exciting journey!
