As corporations grow and evolve, there is increasing demand upon systems in place to continue to deliver, regardless of increased pressures and usage.
Microcomms were asked by RB to provide an upgrade to their existing meeting and conference room audio visual systems. Legacy systems had become stale and were beginning to create unnecessary frustrations for the range of users of the meeting and conference rooms.
We designed the systems with a key focus on simplicity of use whilst still employing state of the art technologies for the end users that could evolve with the ever changing technology market without it having to be a massive job.
Legacy control systems were replaced with Extron Po control hardware and a control interface residing on an iPad touch screen interface. Projection systems were upgraded to full HD systems from Christie in a widescreen format to match native resolution of room users laptops, and to eliminate frustrating mismatches when room users were connecting.
Christie Brio systems were also installed to further enhance collaboration within the meeting rooms and users are now offered the ability to connect to the projection and display screens wirelessly from both laptops and mobile devices such as iPads, iPhones and android devices.
The system was designed to provide state-of-the-art technologies in the background with a simple set of controls for the users of the room.
The key to the project was providing work spaces that end users could simply link up existing devices to the rooms, AV surround systems and to effortlessly work and achieve inspiring results without the need to read a stack of manuals.
