As with all projects of this nature we started with an initial chat with the owners over Microsoft Teams to introduce ourselves, show our portfolio of works and discuss the outline of the project. This is a crucial stage in any project as this allows us to identify the clients requirements & expectations whilst creating a rough timeline for the project.
With the current climate the most important thing at this stage is to ascertain the stock availability of the equipment we are planning to use and communicate any hurdles with the client to minimize delays or disappointment.
Luckily the technologies required for this project were widely available at the time, so we were quickly able to obtain equipment and get everything delivered to site within the timeframe. We liaised with a local property management company who had been employed by the owners for access. There were lots of other works being carried out on site including ground works, electrical rewiring, and building work so we had to carefully plan our visits in conjunction with other service providers.
